Bar Barossa, a new wine bar specialising in handcrafted wines from Barossa and beyond plans to open soon in Brisbane.
The bar is located at 545 Queen Street (on the corner of Adelaide and Macrossan streets) and is due to open next week.
It’s the brainchild of three passionate wine enthusiasts – Queensland construction company owner Trevor Harch, former editor-in-chief of The Bulletin magazine John Lehmann and leading Brisbane wine retailer Darren Davis.
More than $1m has been invested in the bar’s interior, which features a floor-to-ceiling wine wall, custom-made grape bunch chandeliers and a six-metre long panoramic landscape.
