ProCork goes platinum

A group of Coonawarra winemakers recently participated in the launch of ProCork’s new product, Platinum Signature. The winemakers were given the opportunity to taste a range of premium red wines closed with ProCork, cork and screwcap.

“The winemakers could see for themselves ProCork’s ability to allow the wine’s tannins to integrate while retaining freshness, resulting in balance and elegance,” said ProCork marketing manager Alannah Tran. ProCork is doing similar tasting launches in Adelaide, Barossa and Melbourne.

“Platinum Signature is our top-of-the-range product. It is the best natural cork that can be obtained in Portugal, protected with the ProCork membrane to reduce taint and allow the wine to breathe. It is suited to certain styles of wine particularly those that highlight tannins,” Tran said.
