www.BoutiqueWineries.com.au, an e-commerce business from Australia, has reached what most internet businesses dream of: a natural number one search engine ranking, including of course, in Google.
Across 60 relevant keyword search phrases, www.BoutiqueWineries.com.au, ranks number one ahead of 17 other competitor online wine sites. In fact for six of these key word phrases, Boutique Wineries ranks number 1 in Google, appearing the first page on many other searches.
What is most unusual about this is that these are natural rankings and are not sponsored — or paid for — rankings. This kind of exposure is very difficult to obtain and of course very lucrative for any online business providing high volume of target customers at a very low cost.
Managers of Boutique Wineries, Jeremiah and Jodie Josey are proud of this achievement that took four hard years of persistence and patience.
Jodie says "We made a lot of mistakes in the beginning, and still are I’m sure, but I knew that if we stuck at it and persisted that it would pay off eventually".
“The key advantage of this”, says Jeremiah, “is that little known wineries are able to access a much larger market than they can by doing it themselves — even from their own web site. They are wine experts not internet experts. Many times a winery’s pages on www.BoutiqueWineries.com.au, will rank higher than pages from their very own web site. This is because of our high Google rankings”.
Of the efforts they have put in, the Josey’s remarked, "success comes when carefully laid plans are left to mature". They are working now on plans to convert this high ranking into sales volume.
