Publications: Winetitles publishes the industry’s longest-running magazine, and the highest-circulating print publication in Australasia, The Australian & New Zealand Grapegrower & Winemaker, which has been the major source of practical and technical content for the wine industry since it was first published in 1963. In addition, Winetitles publishes The Australian & New Zealand Grapegrower & Winemaker Annual Technical Issue which is extremely well regarded for its technical research content, all around the world. Winetitles also publishes the specialist publications Australian and New Zealand Wine Industry Journal and Australian Viticulture, plus the annual flagship product Australian and New Zealand Wine Industry Directory.

Global content: Reflecting Winetitles’ view that the wine industry is a truly global industry, we have established strong relationships and partnerships with international publishers. These enable the dissemination of vineyard and winery knowledge between countries through content sharing that provides the latest information from the American wine industry to Winetitles’ Australian and New Zealand readers; and vice versa. To date, Winetitles has publishing arrangements in place with Wine Communications Group (America), publisher of Wine Business Monthly; and TizWine in New Zealand.

Operations: Winetitles is a family owned specialist industry news and information company, based in Adelaide, South Australia. We also have offices in Surrey Hills, Victoria, Wangaratta in north east Victoria and Healesville in the Yarra Valley.

Internet: Winetitles powers the industry portal website Winebiz. Winebiz hosts Australia’s only daily industry online newsletter Daily Wine News. Winebiz also carries the industry’s employment website mywinejob.

Book Publishing: Winetitles is Australia’s specialist wine industry book publisher. Among the titles published are: Viticulture Volumes 1 & 2, Growing Quality Grapes to Winery Specifications, Sunlight Into Wine, Diseases and Pests, Field Guide to Diseases and Pests, Viticulture & Environment, Winery Wastewater Handbook, Practical Aspects of Grapevine Trellising, Italian Winegrape Varieties in Australia, The Phylloxera Fight, Tasting & Enjoying Wine, The Wine Spectrum, Wine from 100 Vines, Sparkling Wines- The Technology of Their Production in Australia, Refrigeration for Winemakers. A number of these books are required texts at universities in Australia and overseas. In addition to its own publications, Winetitles is the major retailer of viticulture and oenology books from other publishers, thus providing comprehensive information resources to the industry.

Contract Publishing: Winetitles acts as a contract publisher for a number of industry clients including the Grape and Wine Research and Development Corporation and Australian Society of Viticulture and Oenology.

Print Design Services: Winetitles print design division provides high quality creative design services to industry clients including marketing for conferences, seminars, newsletters and logo design.

History: Winetitles as a division of Provincial Press Group, is part of a fourth generation family regional publishing company which dates back to regional newspapers operated by WT Higgins at Wangaratta in 1937. The Higgins family involvement continues with Edward Higgins who is CEO of the newspapers division. The Group employs over 90 staff in South Australia and Victoria.
